This passiflora specimen is taking over a trellis on my garden fence.
You can never have to much passion. In this case it is passiflora cinnabarina, the passion in this case is actually referring to the Passion of Christ, rather than any damp bits.

The trichoglossus haematodus is found from 25-30 cm in size, and with a wingspan of about 17 cm.
They vary significantly in colour, but our neighbours are dark blue or violet-blue head and stomach, a bright green back, tail and vent, and an red/orange breast and beak.

Tree down tonight on the way back from Narrabeen Beach, where we had been to watch the huge seas generated by the storms on the eastern seaboard of New South Wales.
Just before we got to Terrey Hills, a tree came crashing down across the Mona Vale Road westbound carriage way at Tumbledown Dick.

Yes ... when we go fishing on the Harbour, we have to pass under the Bridge and past the Opera House.
Here we are heading East, down the Harbour - it's about 4kms to Sydney Heads and the South Pacific from here. It's a tough life.

Great equipment in the modern tyre joint.
New set of Bridgestones, wheel balance and alignment in 40 minutes. Not bad.
Here's the Black Beast on the hoist getting reshod. Always wanted a black car. The red two seater mid-life crisis car didn't work.
Problem is the sap from the eucalypts and maples, and the fallout from the possums. Acid rain.
